Welcome to Crescent City UMC in Crescent City, California – a place of worship, community, and spiritual growth. Here at Praise Chapel, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where individuals can explore their faith, deepen their relationship with God, and find a loving community to support them on their spiritual journey.

About Crescent City UMC

Crescent City United Methodist Church, commonly referred to as Praise Chapel, has been serving the Crescent City community for over 50 years. Our church is located in the heart of Crescent City, California, and has become a staple in the community, attracting individuals from all walks of life.

Our Mission

At Crescent City UMC, our mission is to spread God's love and grace, serve others selflessly, and create a space where people can experience spiritual growth and transformation. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can feel accepted and valued.

Our Services

Join us for our weekly Sunday services where we come together to worship, learn, and connect with one another. Our services feature dynamic sermons, uplifting music, and engaging activities for kids and youth. Whether you are new to the area or searching for a church home, we invite you to experience the joy and warmth of our congregation.

Sunday Worship Schedule:

  • Morning Service: 9:00AM - 10:30AM
  • Afternoon Service: 1:00PM - 2:30PM

Ministries and Programs

At Praise Chapel, we offer a variety of ministries and programs catered to different age groups and interests. These include:

Children's Ministry

Our Children's Ministry is designed to provide a safe and engaging environment for kids to learn about God's love and teachings through age-appropriate activities and lessons. We prioritize creating a nurturing space where children can develop a strong foundation of faith.

Youth Ministry

Our Youth Ministry aims to empower and equip young people to live out their faith in a world that constantly challenges their beliefs. Through engaging discussions, retreats, and fun activities, we encourage our youth to embrace their identity in Christ and make a positive impact in their communities.

Adult Bible Study

Our Adult Bible Study group meets regularly to delve deeper into God's Word, discussing its relevance to our lives and sharing insights. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, ask questions, and grow in understanding as we navigate the Christian journey together.

Mission Trips

At Praise Chapel, we believe in putting our faith into action by serving others locally and globally. We organize mission trips to provide assistance to those in need, spreading kindness, love, and support to the less fortunate.

Community Engagement

As a church deeply rooted in the Crescent City community, we are committed to making a positive impact beyond our church walls. We actively participate in various community outreach initiatives, partnering with local organizations to address social issues, support those in need, and spread hope.
