Our Beliefs
At Orchard Community Church, we hold firm to the following beliefs:
The Triune God
We believe in the existence of the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our faith rests upon the understanding that God is the creator of the universe and the ultimate authority who governs all things.
The Bible
The Bible is our inspired guide, serving as the foundation of our teachings. We recognize its authority in matters of faith and practice. Through the Scriptures, we gain wisdom, find comfort, and discover the path to salvation.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God and our Savior. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death on the cross, and triumphant resurrection. Through accepting His sacrifice, we receive salvation and eternal life.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift from God, available to all who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. This salvation is not earned through works but is received by placing faith in Christ's redemptive work.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit dwells within each believer, empowering and guiding us in our walk with God. Through the Holy Spirit, we are equipped with spiritual gifts to serve others and strengthen the body of believers.
The Church
The Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers. We believe in the importance of fellowship and gathering together as a community of faith. Through worship, teaching, and discipleship, we build each other up and extend God's love to the world.
The Second Coming
We affirm the second coming of Jesus Christ, where He will judge the living and the dead. We eagerly await His return, as it holds the promise of a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness dwells.
